What is COCAcon?

COCAcon is COCA’s annual conference, bringing together influential and experienced camp professionals dedicated to creating transformative experiences for children with cancer. Attendees gain insights into the latest best practices, innovative ideas, and essential continued education pertaining to providing safe, fun, and life-changing programs for oncology campers and their families.

As COCA’s largest annual gathering, this three-day event, held each November, is packed with 60-65 educational sessions, a dedicated Contact Hour track, dynamic keynote speakers, roundtable problem-solving discussions, and valuable networking opportunities with sponsors and exhibitors.

A key feature of COCAcon is COCAcademy, a two-day immersive workshop designed to equip camp professionals with actionable takeaways they can implement within their organizations. The workshop tracks are selected based on the top educational priorities identified by COCA Members each year.

With over 250 attendees from more than 70 pediatric oncology camps, COCAcon welcomes a diverse group of professionals, including Executive Directors, COOs, CEOs, Camp and Program Directors, Pediatric Oncologists, Nurses, Child Life Specialists, Social Workers, Lawyers, Teachers, Financial Specialists, Board Members, and more.
