COCA’s mission is to strengthen, support and connect the international community of camps serving individuals and families affected by childhood cancer.
- About COCA In 1982, C.O.C.A., Children’s Oncology Camps of America was founded by fourteen pioneer oncology camps. The personnel from these fourteen camps found the lives of children with cancer were immeasurably enhanced by camping. Noting their similar experiences, these visionary souls believed a forum should be created to share their ideas and experiences. That original group of 14 camps became what is now known as the Children’s Oncology Camping Association (COCA).
- Board of Directors Thank you to our Board of Directors! They volunteer their time and expertise to help us be a stronger, smarter, leaner and focused organization.
